Annual District Convention * Hilton New Orleans Airport * New Orleans, LA * Jul 31-Aug 2, 2026
What is this? This allows club representatives/delegates to participate and vote in the House of Delegates.
What is the House of Delegates? LaMissTenn holds an annual House of Delegates at District Convention, where members vote on District positions (Governor, Governor-Elect, Vice-Governor, Trustees, etc.), Bylaws Amendments, and much more!
Who can be a delegate? District Bylaws entitle each chartered club in good standing to three (3) voting delegates and three (3) alternate delegates as representatives at the House of Delegates.
Delegates-At-Large include all current District Officers (Governor, Governor-Elect, Vice-Governor, Immediate Past Governor, Secretary, Lt. Governors, and Trustees) and Past Governors. Though they can be one of a club’s three delegates, Delegates-At-Large do not need to be included on the form unless they plan to represent a specific club.
How to submit?
Collaborate with your club members to determine who will be your club’s elected delegates and alternates (who will represent your club in the House of Delegates)
This is not a convention registration form. Delegates and alternates must also complete the registration process to receive voting credentials.
Your club MUST be financially current with the LaMissTenn District and Kiwanis International. No delegate will receive voting credentials for any club that has indebtedness. Confirm your club’s financial obligations are met by visiting the Finance tab on Kiwanis Connect, accessible by the Club President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
If no member of your club can attend the convention, you may prearrange to have representation through the current or past lieutenant governor who is a member of another club within your division.
